Train to Gain
The Train to Gain service helps employers get the right training
for their employees. If you’re an employee looking to gain
new skills, telling your employer about Train to Gain could be a
great way to get started. But there’s also a range of services
specially designed to help you further your career through skills.
With the right skills you could add up to £3,000 to your
salary every year, according to Learning and Skills Council (LSC)
research. And you’ll find that new skills open doors to promotions,
new career directions and new experiences.
In Our Hands is an LSC campaign that helps you assess your skills
needs and points you to providers who can help you gain valuable
skills to further your career. Get advice from In Our Hands for:
• adults
• young people
